1. Suzuki Alto Pakistan’s Undisputed Bestseller
Suzuki Alto continues its reign as the most sold car in Pakistan for another year and for good reason.
Why Alto Dominates:
Exceptional fuel average (20 - 22 km/l)
Lowest entry price among new cars
Easy maintenance and cheap spare parts
Strong resale value
From ride hailing drivers to middle income families, Alto fits into almost every buyer category. In my experience, many buyers walk into dealerships for another model and leave with an Alto after crunching long term costs.
2. Toyota Corolla The Trusted Sedan King
Despite rising prices, Corolla remains Pakistan’s most trusted sedan.
Why Corolla Still Sells Strongly:
Legendary durability
High resale value
Comfortable for family and business use
Reliable nationwide service network
Many buyers consider Corolla not just a car, but a long term asset. Even in 2025, used Corollas sell faster than most new competitors.
3. Honda City Urban Family Favorite
Honda City continues to attract urban professionals and small families.
Key Strengths:
Smooth drive and refined engine
Better fuel efficiency than Corolla
Stylish design with modern interior
Honda’s brand loyalty
In cities, City is often preferred by buyers upgrading from hatchbacks who want comfort without jumping to a premium sedan.
Suzuki stayed firmly on top of the market, selling 6,615 vehicles. This was a solid 23% increase compared to last year, although sales dipped 11% from the previous month. The Alto once again led the pack, accounting for 4,069 units and remaining Pakistan’s best-selling passenger car.
Toyota followed with 3,833 units sold, showing an impressive 75% year-on-year jump. Month-on-month sales were down 15%, but strong demand for the Corolla, Yaris, and Corolla Cross kept the brand in a strong position. Honda delivered one of the most eye-catching performances of the month, recording a massive 135% increase compared to last year with 2,609 vehicles sold, mainly driven by the popular Civic and City.
Hyundai sold 1,001 units, up 38% year-on-year, though volumes slipped slightly by 8% compared to October. Sazgar Auto, which brings HAVAL and BAIC vehicles to Pakistan, continued its strong run, posting a 90% year-on-year surge to 1,109 units.
Looking at individual models, the Suzuki Swift gained momentum with 1,367 units sold, up 16.8% month-on-month. The Suzuki Every also performed well, rising 10.9% to 572 units. Isuzu’s D-Max showed notable growth, jumping 66.7% month-on-month to 45 units, while the Hyundai Porter remained steady at 348 units.
According to Topline Research, the strong pickup in auto sales is being supported by easing inflation, smoother supply chains, and the arrival of hybrid and plug-in hybrid models that are attracting more buyers. Analysts believe this positive trend is likely to continue into 2026.
Overall, the data shows that Pakistan’s auto market is not just bouncing back but gaining speed. Demand is rising across both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, making November 2025 a standout month for the industry.
